The cheesecake is the authentic NY variety and is simply super! Atmosphere is a big part of the experience with an obvious emphasis on New York and in particular the Brooklyn Dodgers. Sides included Broccoli and rice with the seafood, and onion rings with steak fries on the burger plate. Seafood was done nicely with shrimp (just a bit overdone), scallops and cod on the plate. The burger was tender, juicy and cooked perfectly. cheeseburger, and their signature cheesecake for dessert. Our fare included clam chowder, a broiled seafood platter, a 10 oz. Our server was prompt and pleasant and was quick to offer suggestions about the more popular items on the menu. Primarily comfort food, the menu is quite large with selections that are bound to appeal to almost every taste. We were starved! This establishment did not disappoint. We ate at this restaurant the evening of our first day at Foxwoods.
